Processing Time

All Karat Designs Fine Jewelry styles are meticulously handcrafted to order. Since each piece is made-to-order, we request that you allow 2-4 weeks before we ship your order. If you have a specific deadline or require expedited shipping, we may be able to accommodate your request. Please reach out to us via email at contact@karatdesigns.com to discuss your needs.

Shipping Options

We offer FREE standard shipping on all orders within the U.S.

The timeframes for the delivery options below start after orders have been shipped.

  • Standard Shipping: Delivery within 5-7 business days (domestic) and 7-14 business days (international).

  • Expedited Shipping: Faster delivery options, such as overnight shipping, are available upon request. Additional fees may apply.

    You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking when your order ships.

International Shipping

Customs, Duties and Taxes

  • Customs processes and import duties are the responsibility of the customer; please check with your local customs office for information.
Cancellations

You may request a cancellation within 24 hours of making a purchase. To make a cancellation or address change request, please contact us directly at contact@karatdesigns.com with your order number in the subject line.

General Information
  • A signature is required for all deliveries.

  • We do not ship to freight forwarding companies or P.O. box addresses, we can only ship to physical addresses.

  • Orders to APO/FPO addresses will be transferred to USPS for delivery.

  • For security purposes, your shipping address cannot be changed after the order has been placed.

  • Once your order ships, we are unable to redirect your package to a different address.

  • Risk of loss and title of the item passes to you, the customer, upon our delivery to the carrier.

  • We are not responsible for shipping delays due to inclement weather, carrier delays, incorrect address, or updated address information.

Returns

Return Policy

If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your jewelry or loose gemstone purchase, you may return any unused merchandise for a refund or credit (minus shipping & handling) within 15 days of receipt. After 15 days, the sale is final.

Merchandise returned must be in its original condition and original packaging, and credit is subject to merchandise being inspected by our jewelry specialists. Merchandise that is damaged or altered in any way cannot be returned.

Please note for loose gemstone returns - Each gemstone must be returned in its original condition, with its original purchase receipt and Certificate, and must not have been previously set. Each customer is permitted one loose diamond return.

To initiate a return, please email us at contact@karatdesigns.com to request a return authorization. Please note that no refund will be granted without prior return authorization.

Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will send you an email notification confirming receipt of your return and the issuance of your refund. Please allow 1-3 business days for this process.

Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Made to Order items
  • Items on Sale
  • Items Purchased During a Sales Event
  • Items that have been resized or modified
  • Engraved fine jewelry
  • Gift Cards
Gift Cards

Gift cards cannot be transferred and are ineligible for returns or redemption for cash. Any remaining balance will remain accessible for future purchases using the same gift card reference code. Karat Designs assumes no liability for lost or stolen gift cards.

Conditions

For your protection, we recommend the following when making a return:

  • Pack your returns in the original box.
  • Use an insured and trackable courier service for the return shipment.
  • Retain your shipping receipt for tracking purposes.

Buyers are responsible for covering the return shipping costs. The items must be shipped back in their original condition and packaging to be eligible for a refund.

Karat Designs is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. Please include a note with your name and invoice number with your return. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Additional Guidelines
  • All returned products must be in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation that was provided with the purchase.

  • Returns without the lab grown diamond certificate (where applicable) are subject to a $150 replacement fee for each missing card.

  • Items that have been modified, engraved, or resized may not be returned.

  • Returns showing signs of wear or damage in any way will not be accepted for return.

  • Packages without a Return Shipping Authorization Number or packages that were refused for delivery will not be accepted for refund.

  • We reserve the right to limit access to the website and/or terminate the account of Returns Abusers.

  • All items are made to order, and thus we do not offer exchanges.
