Limited Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty: Fine Jewelry

At Karat Designs, we are committed to offering our customers exceptional fine jewelry. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our pieces with a complimentary limited lifetime warranty. This warranty is non-transferable and valid from the purchase date.

Our manufacturing warranty excludes coverage for wear and tear, scratching, stretched chains/rings, loss of stones, theft, as well as jewelry damaged due to improper use, cleaning or storage and third party repairs or service performed on the jewelry. Please note - as each item is made-to-order, slight variations are to be expected and are not viewed as a defect.

Should your purchase experience any manufacturing-related issue, please reach out to us contact@karatdesigns.com with photos, a brief video, and a description of how the damage occurred. In the event of a warranty claim, we reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion.

Complimentary Ring Resizing

We offer one complimentary ring resize, adjusting the size up or down by one full size from the original, within 30 days of purchase. Please note that resizing more than twice is not advisable, as it may affect the ring's structural integrity.

Who pays for the shipping?

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. The items must be shipped back in its original condition and packaging. Buyers are responsible for the cost of shipping for both ways (to us and from us).

What is not covered under warranty?
  • Normal wear and tear, scratches.
  • Damage, loss of stones, theft, improper care.
  • Fading or discoloration of metals from inadequate care such as hot tubs, perfumes, chemicals.
  • Thinning prongs over time due to normal wear and tear causing stones to become loose.
  • The loss of a stone caused by trauma or damage.
  • Third party repairs or service performed on the jewelry.
Whom does the warranty extend to?

This warranty extends to the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable and valid from the purchase date.

How to initiate a warranty claim?

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our us at contact@karatdesigns.com with your order details and a description of the issue.

Customers are responsible for shipping the item back to us for warranty evaluation. Please ensure that the item is securely packaged.

We'll inspect it and if covered under our warranty coverage, we will repair it. If it's not covered, we'll send you a repair estimate via email for your approval before commencing any work or requesting payment.
